Daily Ephesus Tour

You will be picked up very early and taken from your hotel for a flight to Izmir.You will be transferred to the airport to fly to Izmir.  Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the Ephesus Tour Turkey representative. You will meet your guide and driver and will then be taken on an Ephesus Tour.

First of all, we will visit the ancient, Greek city of Ephesus and The House of Virgin Mary, a marvelous place surrounded by trees.  During the day, we will also visit spectacular places, such as The Marble Street, The Odeon, Bouleterion, The Temple of Hadrian, The Trajan’s Fountain, The Mosaic Street, The Agora, The Baths, The Great Theatre, Harbour Street and the third largest library of the ancient world, the famous Celsus Library.

We will visit the House of Virgin Mary, where she spent her last days.  She preferred to live in this remote place.  After that, we will visit The Temple of Artemis, which is known as one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world and was built in an area of Ephesus.  Today, one can only see the ruins of the foundations of this marvelous construction of the Hellenistic Age, made entirely of marble and full of sculptured columns, capitals and shafts.

At the end of the day, you will be taken to the Izmir Airport for your return flight to Istanbul.  When you arrive at the airport in Istanbul, you will be welcomed by our representative at the first exit door.  You will then be taken to your Istanbul hotel.
